Bikes Donated to Children of Vets in CT

The Charitable Foundation has recently donated and distributed 250 bikes to children of veterans and military families at the Newington Veterans Affairs Clinic in Newington, Connecticut. The donation is the result of our Buy-Give-Get program, which is a community-driven initiative designed to provide items to those in need through the generosity of OSJL and our customers.

Distribution of Buckets for Vets in Philadelphia

On Friday, November 15, the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with Philadelphia’s professional sports teams, gathered at the Philadelphia Sports Complex to distribute 2,500 “Buckets for Vets” kits to first responders, state and local police, and various veteran service organizations. The buckets were filled at our distribution center by volunteers from OSJL, the Rhode Island State Police, RI National Guard, Seabees, VFW, American Legion, Electric Boat Veterans Foundation, LaSalle Academy, Rocky Hill School, and various state political officials.

G.I.V.E. Big!

Two new OSJL customers who support Giving Is Very Essential (G.I.V.E.) were thrilled by our Buy-Give-Get Coats program at Store 610 in Mechanicsburg, PA. They signed up as Insiders and over the course of two days purchased 172 coats to donate locally, using their Crazy Deal® Gift Cards to maximize their impact.
