Green Team
The Green Team is composed of associates from many departments at Ocean State Job Lot, offering a diverse array of ideas and opportunities that can be offered to the communities we are located in. This team allows for Ocean State Job Lot to participate in events where we can assist and partner with other organizations through cleaning projects, supplying materials, and many other ongoing projects.
There are continuous efforts to participate and become involved in more opportunities that provide relief to our communities to make a change.
Each year, the Green Team works on projects for Earth Day to provide extra help in local parks and throughout the community to cooperate in cleanup projects. The team has worked closely with Save the Bay and Roger Williams Park Zoo to offer support and assistance. Additionally the Green Team has “adopted a highway” located near our corporate headquarters, cleaning up waste that is found on and around the road.
