Buy-Give-Get is here!

Northeast winters can be fiercely cold, and together, we can help tens of thousands of veterans in need keep warm this winter by donating new winter coats through our Buy-Give-Get program.

Come into any Ocean State Job Lot store and:

  1. Buy a winter coat for just $40 (regularly $120 or more).
  2. Give the coat you purchased back to the cashier, and we’ll make sure it’s delivered to a veteran in need.
  3. Get a $40 Crazy Deal Gift Card – free!*

When you use the $40 Crazy Deal Gift Card, your final cost will be zero!
There’s no cost to you, and a veteran in need receives a brand new winter coat.

Through the Buy-Give-Get programs we’ve run over the past seven years, we’ve donated nearly 250,000 winter coats to veterans in need.

Thank you for helping us make an impact for veterans throughout the Northeast!

Restrictions apply for the redemption/use of Crazy Deal Gift Cards. Click here for full details.

Buy-Give-Get Backpacks for Children in Need

Our summertime Buy-Give-Get backpack program, in partnership with USA Veterans and Military Support Foundation is made possible in part by our generous customers through their in-store and online donations. Since the program’s inception, over 200,000 backpacks have been donated to children in need, including children of military families. In 2023, in just 15 short days our customers purchased nearly 35,000 backpacks to be donated to support children in need. Since the program’s inception, this is the fastest one of our Buy-Give-Get programs has ever concluded! In 2022, our Ocean State Job Lot summer interns gathered at our headquarters in North Kingstown, Rhode Island to help fill 1,500 backpacks with donated school supplies. From there, nearly 34,000 filled backpacks were distributed to children across all nine states where Ocean State Job Lot stores are located in New England, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
