It’s time for the first fun holiday of the year for the kids! But, we all know that it may not exactly be all that much fun for the adults who have to come up with a few treats to put together for a school party or an afternoon get-together for a few friends coming over the house for your little ones.

Now, instead of letting it be an exhausting, mind-bending task for you to come up with something new, let us give you a trio of suggestions with some help from our friends at Bob’s Red Mill, whose products you can get at all of our Ocean State Job Lot locations.

Remember, it doesn’t have to be overly complex or reinventing the wheel, as long as it puts a smile on their faces, that’s the end goal, right? It could be as simple as these traditional rose-flavored sugar cookies. And maybe if you play your cards right, there may be some left over for you at the end.

So, let’s get right to it.
