Allison Ellsworth, poppi’s co-founder and chief brand officer, is transforming the soda industry! Driven by a desire to feel better after drinking soda, she began experimenting with her family in their Dallas, Texas, kitchen to develop a superior alternative.
By combining sparkling water, prebiotics, apple cider vinegar, and fruit juices, she crafted the future of fizzy drinks. Her journey took a pivotal turn at a local farmers’ market where a buyer tasted her creation and recognized its potential.
While nine months pregnant, Allison and her husband, Stephen, received a life-changing call from “Shark Tank” in Los Angeles. This led to a partnership with Rohan Oza, known as “The Brandfather,” followed by a strategic rebrand that officially launched poppi.
The brand has since gained significant social media traction, with celebrities like Billie Eilish, Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Olivia Munn, Post Malone, and Russell Westbrook enjoying the beverage. Poppi even made a notable appearance in a commercial during “The Big Game” this past February.
