Our Programs
The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation has developed programs to support individuals and families in the communities where our stores are located as well as other nonprofit organizations and the important work they do. We take great pride in our commitment to supporting our neighbors, and working with our partner organizations for the greater good. From assisting people in need, including children, veterans and military, those who are homeless, and those struggling with food insecurity, to aiding animal rescues, shelters and welfare organizations, our dedication to those in-need never wavers.
Three Square Meals
Since the inception of the Three Square Meals program in 2013, the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation has provided the equivalent of nearly 100 million meals to local food pantries, churches, and regional food banks.
Buy-Give-Get
At Ocean State Job Lot, one way we honor veteran and military families is through our Buy-Give-Get coats and Buy-Give-Get backpacks programs. Through our Buy-Give-Get programs, our customers play a pivotal role in giving to those in need.
To the Rescue
At Ocean State Job Lot, we care deeply for our animal friends in need. Through our To The Rescue program, over 350 different animal welfare organizations have benefitted from donations from our customers as well as our charitable foundation, to aid in their daily operations.
Crisis and Natural Disaster Relief
At Ocean State Job Lot, we take pride in being able to assist others in times of disaster and uncertainty, whether they are near or far. From natural disasters to international crises, we are committed to providing aid and support to those who need it most.
Building Brighter Futures
Many children are facing hardship and uncertain futures, and we need to come together to do more – for them. We are committed to partnering with organizations that put children at the forefront, and together we can help kids in our communities who need support now more than ever.
Close To Our Heart
Here at Ocean State Job Lot, we recognize the importance of each community that supports and is part of our organization. Our store associates take great pride in giving back to their own local communities through the Close to Our Heart program.
