Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation – Looking Back at 2025

Ocean State Job Lot’s Charitable Foundation had a very successful 2025. With help from our extremely loyal customers and associates, we were able to complete our Buy-Give-Get Toys program, Buy-Give-Get Coats program, and Three Square Meals donation drive for 2025.

In total, Job Lot:

  • Donated 78,000 coats to homeless veterans and veterans in need
  • Donated 275,000 toys to put smiles on kids’ faces
  • Raised enough money to provide more than 3 million meals to address food insecurity in our communities
  • Distributed pairs of pajamas and pairs of shoes to nearly 46,000 local children
  • Provided 1,800 bikes for children of military families

Ocean State Job Lot was also there to team up with the United Cajun Navy to deliver over 91,500 pounds of organic pasta to active-duty military personnel and their families when facing food insecurity during the ongoing government shutdown.

This massive donation, equivalent to more than 183,000 boxes of pasta, will be transported via tractor-trailer from Illinois to Fort Hood, Texas, and Fort Polk, Louisiana. Local partners will then manage the distribution to military families in need.

We also worked with the United Cajun Navy to donate 10 shipments—a total of 240,000 pounds—of essential items, including clothing, food for people and pets, furniture, and much-needed cleaning and sanitation products during the California Wildfires.

Finally, during the Alaska tsunami, we worked with the United Cajun Navy to donate over 1,000 coats and thousands of pounds of food.

Together, we are making a difference with a powerful partnership between our customers, partners, and associates.
