Ocean State Job Lot has celebrated several grand openings this fall, each marked by a commitment to community support.
On October 19, the Pembroke, Massachusetts store opened its doors. As part of our support to the community, we donated non-perishable food items to the Firehouse Pantry to help local residents facing hunger. In addition, we delivered warm winter coats to the American Legion Post 143 to help underserved veterans and their families stay warm during the colder months.
November 23 saw a trio of openings. Holmdel, New Jersey, welcomed our eighth store in the state and the second in Monmouth County. There, we donated 50 winter coats to American Legion Post 23 in Keyport. In Avon, Massachusetts, we celebrated the opening of our 52nd store in the state with a donation of 50 winter coats to VFW Post 8892. Warwick, Rhode Island, gained our third and largest store in the city and the 17th in the state. As part of our commitment to that community, we donated 50 warm winter coats to the American Legion Post 43 to provide warmth to underserved veterans and their families.
December 7 brought two more openings: Pottstown, Pennsylvania, marked our eleventh store in the state and the second in Montgomery County. American Legion Boyertown Post 0471 received 50 winter coats. Augusta, Maine, welcomed our eighth store with a donation of 50 winter coats to American Legion Fitzgerald-Cummings Post 2.
Lastly, on December 14, the St. Albans, Vermont, store opened its doors, and in keeping with our ongoing commitment to every community we serve, the local American Legion received a donation of 50 warm winter coats.
