For the Week of August 9, 2026

Toy Donation to Troop 66 in RI

To support Jackson Caito’s Eagle Scout project for Troop 66 Garden City in Rhode Island, the OSJL Charitable Foundation recently donated a selection of beach toys. Jackson envisioned a “lending library” for beach toys to accommodate families who forgot to bring their own, while simultaneously helping to keep local playgrounds and shores clean by serving as a repository for discarded or forgotten items. The finished library boxes have been successfully set up at the Margaret Cranston Playground and North Kingstown Town Beach in North Kingstown, RI, and at Narragansett Town Beach in Narragansett, RI.

Donation to Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England

The Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England recently expressed their thanks to the OSJL Charitable Foundation on Facebook for their $2,000 donation of OSJL Gift Cards. The Girl Scouts plan to use the funds to purchase supplies for their camp adventures and community partnership programs! Ginger Lallo, Chief Operating Officer of GSSNE, also stopped by Job Lot’s corporate headquarters to meet Mike Lucas, OSJL’s Charitable Operations Manager.
