G.I.V.E. Big!

Two new OSJL customers who support Giving Is Very Essential (G.I.V.E.) were thrilled by our Buy-Give-Get Coats program at Store 610 in Mechanicsburg, PA. They signed up as Insiders and over the course of two days purchased 172 coats to donate locally, using their Crazy Deal® Gift Cards to maximize their impact. Way to go, Team 610, to help the community!

Buckets for Vets Have Been Filled

A community effort, including Rhode Island State Police, the Rhode Island National Guard, VFW, the American Legion, Seabees, students from LaSalle Academy and Rocky Hill Country Day School and our Ocean State Job Lot associates, volunteered on Saturday, November 2 to fill 2,500 buckets of winter supplies, including winter coats, other protective clothing, a hygiene kit, first aid supplies and essentials from Ocean State Job Lot for veterans in need. These have been delivered to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Stay tuned for more information!

Buy-Give-Get PJs and Shoes for Kids in Maine

Big Brothers Big Sisters has recently picked up a donation of Buy-Give-Get kids’ PJs and shoes which were delivered by an Ocean State Job Lot truck to a store in Maine.  Over 1,300 donated PJs and shoes were handed out to kids in need.
