Giving Back to Those Who Served

Navy Petty Officer Grace Lucasi has always loved motorcycles and the open road. But after a traumatic service injury while preparing for Operation Desert Shield left her with life-altering injuries, she feared she would never experience life on two wheels again.

Now, Grace serves as the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation’s Volunteer Coordinator for Connecticut and is the driving force behind our efforts to provide food, warm clothing, and essential supplies to veterans and military families.

To honor her incredible service and support her continued recovery, the Charitable Foundation donated a stationary bike to Grace. We are honored to have Grace on our team and thank her for her unwavering dedication to her country and her fellow veterans.

Junior Jokers Coat Donation

Ahead of February’s historic end-of-the-month blizzard, Ocean State Job Lot in Mays Landing, NJ, was able to give back to its local community by donating coats collected during the Buy-Give-Get program. They provided 584 coats to the Junior Jokers organization! Together, we are making a difference!

Coffee and Coats Donation

On Thursday, February 19, The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation made a donation of 100 men’s coats and 65 single-cup coffee makers to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Gardner, MA. Additionally, Boston’s Best Coffee contributed a generous amount of coffee pods to go along with the coffee makers. The DAV was very grateful to receive the donation and Smiley Ball, the WooSox mascot was in attendance!
