At Ocean State Job Lot, we deeply value the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans. Recognizing their commitment to our country, we are dedicated to supporting veterans in need. Our Buy-Give-Get coats program is a small token of our gratitude for their selfless service and the challenges they have faced. By ensuring that veterans have access to warm winter coats during the colder months, we aim to contribute to their well-being. We are honored to serve those who have served us. As a result of the 2024 program, over 77,000 coats are being distributed to veterans in need.
Toy Donation Success!
Thanks to the success of the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation’s Buy-Give-Get toys program, over 175,000 toys are being distributed to children in need. This was made possible through partnerships with organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, the YMCA, select Boys & Girls Clubs, Community Angels, Veterans Inc., Central & Western MA Veterans & Family Support, and USA Vets.
These programs have supplemented OSJL’s other Buy-Give-Get programs, including kids’ backpacks, PJs and shoes. Since the start of Buy-Give-Get in 2016, OSJL has provided over 300,000 coats to veterans in need, 200,000 backpacks, 1,800 bikes and one set of Kids PJs and shoes for nearly 46,000 kids in need, including those from military families.
