Queensbury, NY
Located in Glen Square, 751 Upper Glen Street, the 30,660-square-foot store will revitalize the former Big Lots location and create new jobs in the community. This will be the chain’s 16th New York location and a first in Warren County. Full-time positions will be available in Mid-November and part-time positions will be available starting in December. The store is set to open in early 2025.
Hagerstown, MD
Exciting news! We’re bringing the Ocean State Job Lot experience to Hagerstown, MD in Spring 2025. This will be the chain’s FIRST Maryland location. We’re currently hiring for key leadership positions only. Activate your job alerts to be the first to know when Full-Time or Part-Time positions are available. The store is set to open in the spring of 2025.
North Attleborough, MA
We are excited to announce the purchase of the Cumberland Crossing shopping center, located at 1505 South Washington Street in North Attleborough, MA. We plan to open a new 51,074-square-foot store in the former Christmas Tree Shops location in the second quarter of 2025. This will be our 53rd store in Massachusetts and our eighth in Bristol County.
This marks our sixth repurposed Christmas Tree Shops location. We’re committed to revitalizing retail spaces and creating jobs in the community. We will be hiring up to 70 positions, including store leadership; supervisory; and full-time, part-time, and seasonal associates. We are currently accepting applications for leadership positions, with applications for other positions opening soon.
New Store Openings in 2024
In 2024, we successfully opened seven new retail store locations, expanding our reach across the Northeast. These new locations include Pembroke, MA; Holmdel, NJ; Pottstown, PA; Avon, MA; Saint Albans, VT; Warwick, RI; and Augusta, ME. These openings mark a significant milestone for Ocean State Job Lot and demonstrates our continued commitment to providing value and convenience to our customers.
